Our partnerships enable Community Action to effectively improve social and economic justice in the State of Pennsylvania.

The following is a list of CAAP's national partners

  • The National Community Action Foundation is a private, non-profit organization that services as the national advocate for Community Action Agencies.

  • The Community Action Program Legal Services (CAPLAW) is a non-profit membership corporation that is dedicated to providing the legal, governance and management resources necessary to sustain and strengthen the national Community Action Agency network.

  • The Community Action Partnership is a national, non-profit organization that works to strengthen, promote, represent, and serve its network of member Community Action Agencies to assure that the issues of poverty are effectively presented and addressed.

  • The National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) is the premier national association charged with advocating and enhancing the leadership role of states in preventing and reducing poverty.

  • Volunteers In Service To America (VISTA) was founded in 1965 as a national service program to fight poverty in America. In 1993, VISTA was incorporated into the AmeriCorps network of programs.

  • VirtualCAP is an online resource for Community Action Agencies across the United States.
